We are just leaving Monteverde. Every day is action-packed, so there's not always much chance to blog!
We set off on a hike with hanging bridges at 7am today! Everyone is in high spirits but sorry to be leaving Costa Rica.

Our itinerary
Sunday 29 March
Arrive at the Botancial gardens at 12.45 present time (01.45 if you have put your clocks forward). Depart Sheffield for Gatwick Airport. Flight VS063 for Havana leaves at 09.45 – now scheduled to depart at 11.35am. Arrive Havana at 14.15. Tour of the old city.
Monday 30 March
Morning guided tour of old and new Havana.
17.05 depart Havana on flight CM437 for San Jose, Costa Rica.
Tuesday 31 March
Manzanillo – Jungle Trail - Zip-wire experience.
Wednesday 1 April
Manzanillo - kayaking and snorkelling. Wildlife Refuge's Trails.
Thursday 2 April
Arenal - Hanging Bridges - Arenal Volcano. Evening Spa experience.
Friday 3 April
Venado Caves
Saturday 4 April
La Fortuna - Monteverde Cloud Forest - Butterfly Farm - Hummingbird Gallery - Frog Pond
Sunday 5 April
Sky Walk. Depart Costa Rica at 16.00 on flight CM825 for Havana. Arrive 23.17
Monday 6 April
Pinar del Rio - Vinales - Caverna de Santo Tomas.
Tuesday 7 April
Cay Jutias. Return to Havana. Salsa lesson with local Cubans.
Wednesday 8 April
National History Museum and tour of other historic sights. Depart Havana on flight VS064 for Gatwick. This departs from Havana at 1910 local time.
